Dan Garwood

CBG & Company co-founder Dan Garwood has been working in the financial services industry for more than 25 years.

Dan’s background includes 9 years with a national dental financial planning firm as a consultant. While there he developed personal strategies for his clients to assist them in meeting their financial and personal goals. He also has 4 years of experience with a major brokerage firm with responsibilities in investment allocation and insurance needs.

Dan’s experience includes presenting nationally at dental schools and study clubs. He has developed a personal finance curriculum for dental students that uses powerful examples that illustrate the different roads to success.

Dan’s approach to planning encompasses more than just spreadsheets and net worth statements. Dan feels it is important to get to know the client and their family before he makes recommendations that will change the course of their future. He takes this responsibility very seriously and looks forward to the opportunity to build that relationship.

Dan has an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Indianapolis and holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation from the College of Financial Planning. He is also an Investment Advisor Representative.

Dan enjoys his family, spending time outdoors, and his many pets.
